Sorted and Organised

Here is my room as it looked just after I finished tidying up the other day. I wonder how long it will last this time?

I'm particularly loving my new scraps tubs at the end of the table in this second picture. Before now all my quilting scraps were just thrown in together pell-mell. This arrangement worked fine for me for a while, but since I've been sewing more and more lately my collection of scraps has grown, each time I needed a particular colour I had to search through the whole lot to find it, which always resulted in a big mess. I also just love the way my new scraps containers look, all nicely organised by colour and stacked up at the table end where I can see them :)

I've got two machines set up here, one each for the two girls who came over for a lesson with me. They are both making their first quilts, the older a quilt for her bed and the younger a matching quilt for her doll's bed. I can't wait to show you their creations later on.
