Lucy’s Dinosaurs

It's done! I absolutely love how this quilt turned out, especially the quilting. I finished off the binding by hand last week and it has now gone to its new owner. Little Lucy is only 13 months old and so was far more fascinated with the ribbon I tied around the quilt, her mother and my good friend however, was thrilled with it. All the many, many hours planning, cutting, and sewing were paid back in full in just a few seconds when seeing my friend's face on unfolding the quilt.

I do enjoy the back view of this quilt. The vine and leaf quilting shows up so much better than on the front.

Well, this quilt is now done, with the next already in the works! My next one has some pretty cute snails as well as flowers and some other bugs.
